Paste Height Monitor
The Paste Height Monitor is an elegant and robust solution designed to avoid defects related to inadequate paste deposition. This option enables the printer to monitor paste roll diameter on the front squeegee blade during a print stroke. An analog LED sensor mounted to the back of the squeegee head monitors paste diameter during the front-to-rear stroke. The system uses an advanced algorithm to translate the sensor's voltage output to a distance value. This value determines paste roll diameter.
This unique system can proactively analyze the paste consumption rate enabling the printer to be configured to add material at a specific frequency. Or, the tool can be used to react to a low paste condition when it occurs.
