SelectaSpray
The ELECTROVERT SelectaSpray fluxing system blends capability and flexibility in a single, easy to use, ergonomic unit designed for low solids fluxes. The unit provides the established benefits of spray fluxing - no reuse of flux, no flux thinning and low flux usage - in a sensibly priced system that is virtually maintenance free. With its concise
space requirements, the unit can be easily retrofitted into a wide range of wave solder machines.
The SelectaSpray system uses ELECTROVERT's proven hydraulic principle of spray formation. The flux is kept in a sealed container, which is pressurized with air or nitrogen. The pressurized flux is directed to a line of spray nozzles which are switched on and off via solenoid valves to form a low intensity flux spray beneath the board. The pulsed spray duration, and frequency of pulses determine the rate of coverage. The unit incorporates a six-nozzle system capable of fluxing boards up to 20 inches (508mm) wide. Spray nozzles are selected individually to meet the fluxing width. Accurate coverage is achieved by a pulsed spray of pre-programmed frequency and duration, with coverage being further enhanced by a flux mobilization airknife.
The system is electronically controlled by a microcontroller with integrated key pad and LCD.
